Welcome to the Shell Fishing Club Website
Welcome
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you all to the Shell Fishing Club's web site.
I really hope you continue to find our website useful, keeping you all up to date with the clubs news and events. Don't forget we'd still like your contributions to the news pages, taking part in discussion on the forums and getting your pictures into the gallery.
It's a site for the club, so if there's anything you think we might like to to see or can all benefit from please e-mail me. Regards Teo Utting (SFC Admin).
[07/12/09] Fisherman of the Year Update
Well all the matches have been fished, the nets weighed and the points totted up. It's time to reveal the SFC 'Fisherman of the Year' winner..... actually I can't it's too close to call, see for youself by clicking here!
[30/11/09] More Apologies (a technical difficulty)
Please accept our apologies (once again) this time it's my fault. I've had a bit of a technical hitch which has held up all the results I've been receiving. It's sorted now (just in time for the end of the season) but all the results are now up to date and we await yesterday's and the Christmas match which is next week.
It's going to take a couple of hours to get all the points allocated but I will put up the final 'Fisherman of the Year' table as soon as i can.
[24/10/09] Apologies
Please accept our apologies for the lack of results recently, we've had a few communication issues but everything has been resolved and normal service can resume.
The majority of results are up on-line now and I'll update the Fisherman of the Year table over the next couple of days.
[16/07/09] Weybred Match Report
Carl tells me Weybred was a nice day with no rain but the STAR of the day was John Ankers with a lovely 10lb 9oz common which is a PB for John.
What's more as there were no tench caught at Field Farm it was decided to roll the Tench Cup over to the Weybred match and John managed to catch two tench which weighed 4lb 10 oz.
Well Done John you deserve it!
[12/07/09] Quiz Night & Results
The results from Barford are up and also details of a Quiz Night, taking place on Saturday 8th of August. More details on the Social Page.

This Sunday (July 5th) is a points match which is at Barford.
[25/06/09] Recent Results

[18/06/09] Barford Match Results
Sunday's results from Barford are up, Carl tells me it was a very hot day, with only a few carp, but Paul managed to bag one at 17lb 10z though. Congratz for that!
This Sunday (June 21st) is another points match which is being held at Marsh Farm.
[11/06/09] Trophy Match Results
Just received the results of the two latest Trophy matches, as always you can find all results 'here'.

I've had the results from the second points match back, which means we have some data to put in the 'Fisherman of the Year' table. You can see who's off to an early start by looking 'here'.
This Sunday (June 7th) is the Roach Cup which is being held at Marsh Trail near Beccles.
[25/05/09] Match Results Update
Carl's been in touch and I've updated the results from the last two matches. Marsh Farm (10th May) was lovely day with lots of sunshine but a bit breezy. All the bags of fish were made up of skimmers / roach and Rudd with the odd perch but strangely no carp.
This Sunday (May 31st) is the Float Trophy match at Top Croft, good luck to everyone taking part.
[11/05/09] 1st Match Results Back
Well the match season is under way with the 1st results back from last weeks match at Cider Farm, Halesworth Check out the 'Current Match Results' page to see how everyone got on.
It was an excellent attendance for the 1st match of the year with over 200lb of fish caught and a lovely day to boot. Here's to the next one!
[27/04/09] A Big Thank You!
The SFC committee would like to extend a very big thank you to all of those people who came over and helped with the work parties these last two weekends.
The turn out was great and although there was a lot of work needing to be done it's all now been completed.
All that's left now is the fun part: stock up your tackle box, grab a pint of maggots and get fishing!
We look forward to seeing you all there soon, don't forget to let us know how you get on. (e-mail me)
